Carol oversees all service offerings for the firm, and provides ongoing guidance and counsel to senior strategists and communications professionals on the direction and execution of JCPR's client campaigns.
With more than a decade of experience across a variety of communications disciplines, Carol has earned a reputation for artful execution of impactful PR campaigns, interactive strategies and content generation programs. She speaks regularly on topics including emerging PR trends and integrated communications strategies.
Carol oversees the implementation of corporate strategy across departments, guides employee development programs and is instrumental in nurturing JCPR's culture, which is a key driver of the firm's growth and overall success.
Prior to joining JCPR, Carol managed the marketing and public relations group for the Women's Fund of New Jersey.
Karen is responsible for the day-to-day operations of JCPR, as well as overseeing the strategic development and execution of the company's corporate business plans. Karen leads all business planning activities, risk management and legal activities, organizational budgeting processes and human resources for the agency.
Prior to joining JCPR, Karen was a buyer at housewares retailer Lechters, where she oversaw a $65 million budget and was responsible for purchasing merchandise for 650 stores and developing and achieving sales and marketing plans, as well as maintaining inventory levels and gross margin dollars.
Carol Anne is responsible for all financial activities for JCPR, including cash management, financing, strategic planning, budgeting and financial analysis.
With a broad background in CFO roles across retail, distribution, manufacturing and service businesses, Carol Anne has established a successful history as a change agent whose leadership results in improved shareholder value. She has been the financial leader for privately held businesses with sales up to $125 million.
Carol Anne earned her B.A. from Michigan State University majoring in accounting and finance.
A communication industry veteran, Michelle oversees JCPR's business development efforts and key marketing functions to ensure the agency's unique value is relayed consistently and clearly in the market.
Responsible for mid-range planning and execution of the firm's strategic plan, Michelle additionally works with JCPR's clients and senior strategists to ensure they have access to integrated services that will drive their communications and business success.
Michelle previously served as head of JCPR's specialized content team, and has led strategic content development and integrated communications campaigns for clients across industries including finance, legal, real estate and professional services. She has also worked as a reporter for several daily newspapers.
A successful producer with more than 25 years of experience, Steven has worked in all aspects of the video production business, including corporate marketing communications, feature films, documentaries and broadcast television. He oversees all visual communications projects for JCPR's production company, JCIP.
Prior to joining the agency, Steven produced an ongoing Merrill Lynch client profile series that included over 35 short documentary films used for national television commercials, as well as roll-ins on live webcasts with Charlie Gibson.
Steven's credits also include line producer, post production and production manager roles with PBS, Charlie Rose, LucasFilm and many more.
Bob oversees JCPR's specialized content team, which combines the experience of former journalists, bloggers and PR professionals to deliver exceptional written materials that help drive the success of the agency's campaigns. He oversees the development of strategic messaging, bylined articles, news releases, and other written materials that are integral to our clients' campaigns.
Prior to joining JCPR, Bob's career spans more than three decades as a business journalist covering a variety of industries including financial services, distilled spirits, wine and beer, restaurants and foodservice, music, heavy construction and mining. He most recently served as Managing Editor of Investment Advisor. As Editorial Director of the Adams/Jobson Beverage Group he was responsible for the editorial content of four magazines and seven annual publications. In that role he was considered one of the nation's leading experts on beverage trends and his comments on industry issues regularly appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes and BusinessWeek, as well as on CNBC and Bloomberg News Radio.
For many years Bob was active in the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) serving several terms on the organization's Board of Directors, including stints as Secretary and Treasurer.

Under direct supervision and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, responsible for collaborating with senior public relations executives to deliver media relations services, initiatives, and projects to assigned client groups.
1. Functions as a general point of contact (for clients and internally) for public relations initiatives.
2. Assists in the development of strategic PR plans and campaign development -- utilizing traditional, broadcast, social and digital media. Executes strategic priorities for clients.
3. Identifies and secures an array of high-level media placements for clients.
4. Participates in with new-client onboarding; including developing agendas for discovery and analysis meetings, taking notes of meetings and/or conference calls, coordinating media trainings, coordinating with content to deliver messaging and communicating account details to other departments (media analysis, operations, etc.).
5. Develops unique story angles and timely pitches to generate consistent client exposure. Monitors, identifies and secures appropriate editorial calendar opportunities for clients.
6. Develops/builds/expands effective business relationships with key media members.
7. Assists internal team members and staff with other client, business development, and Company projects.
8. Notifies the media analysis team of scheduled interviews and client submissions (bylines, Q&As, etc.).
9. Acts as a steward of the JCPR brand, consistently representing and reflecting the Company’s core values, approach and high standards of excellence in all client, media and public interactions.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: College degree; or equivalent related business experience.
Experience and Expertise: Minimum 2 years successful industry-related experience; with an emphasis on client relationship partnering with major accounts within the financial services sector.
- Proven capability in proactively determining client requirements, developing new ideas, and recommending appropriate strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and deductive reasoning skills.
